Abstract
The creation of listening communities is an urgent task for youth ministry in the post-modern era. People engaged in the quest for faithful living in a world of competing truths desperately need trusted listeners with whom to unfold their inner longings. This article proposes that such listening communities, created during research into the faith-lives of teens, might well be replicated through the intentional use of interviews as constructive sites for the production of self knowledge in the practice youth ministry.
