Abstract

AbstractThe larval instars of Agabus maderensis Wollaston, 1854 and Agcbus wollastom Sharp, 1880-82 are described from specimens from the island Madeira. The descriptions of both endemic species are based on larval specimens taken together with adults. A key to the known Agabus species from Madeira and some notes on the habitats of the species are provided.
