Abstract
AbstractMales of Heterodera glycines races 1 and 3, collected from two localities in Argentina, were morphologically and morphometrically analysed. Certain morphological characters showed inter- and intrapopulation variability. There were no characters that clearly differentiated the populations studied. Most of the morphometrical characters differed from those known for other populations of the species and showed a reduced variability. No significant differences were observed between the mean values of the two races for most of the morphometrical characters considered.
