Abstract
Duloxetine is a selective serotoninnorepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) antidepressant frequently used to treat different psychiatric conditions and neuropathic pain. Increasing reports of hepatic injury have been documented with this medication since its release, in individuals with and without known risk factors for hepatotoxicity. In this case report, we present a 47-year-old female with a documented history of liver injury who developed increase in liver function tests twice, in a dose-dependent occurrence related to this medication.
