Abstract
Congenital absence of the extraocular muscles is a relatively rare entity that is diagnosed by magnetic resonance imaging and is usually associated with craniofacial syndromes, microcornea, microphthalmos, and coloboma. The authors describe anterior segment optical coherence tomography as a quick and valuable modality in this setting before subjecting the patient to magnetic resonance imaging or computed tomography.
