Abstract
The paper presents an experimental and numerical investigation aimed at determining the load-carrying behavior of a new type of structure, which is a textile reinforced concrete hollow beam. This new material consists of fine-grained concrete reinforced with textile made from non-metallic fibers. In addition, numerical simulations were also conducted. The simulation results showed a similarity to the experimental results in terms of the failure mode, load-deflection curves.
