Abstract

This paper presents the numerical simulation study using the finite element method to determine the shear behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) beam strengthened with textile reinforced concrete (TRC). Numerical simulation results, then, are compared with experimental results on three points bending tes. The obtained results show the similarity between numerical simulation model and experimental results in aspects such as displacement - force curve, failure mode. Besides, some parameters affecting to shear behavior of RC beam strengthened with TRC have been also investigated.
