Abstract
Buckley’s Quill and Snowbelle are freely flowering Philadelphus cultivars with very fragrant, double white flowers that survive the winters well in Eastern Ontario. Snowbelle has a medium high shrub and produces more flowers during a longer flowering season than Buckley’s Quill. Buckley’s Quill has been rated higher than Snowbelle in cooperative trials. Its quill-like petals give it an unusual appearance for mock orange.
