Abstract
Abstract
Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD) is a common presentation to
primary care and has large direct and indirect effects on the UK economy.
The purpose of this review is to highlight the management strategies for
GORD among military personnel in primary and secondary care. Particular
emphasis is placed on the outcomes from each form of treatment and the
possible impact on deployability, in keeping with current UK military
medical policy and guidance.
