1. Leslie Atzmon is Professor of Graphic Design and Design History at Eastern Michigan University (EMU) in Ypsilanti, MI. She earned her MFA in graphic design at EMU and her PhD in design history at Middlesex University, UK. She has published articles in several journals and is currently co-editing the anthology The Graphic Design Reader with Teal Triggs. She is an editor of the new Journal of Communication Design.
2. Prasad Boradkar is Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Industrial Design program at Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in mechanical engineering and industrial design, and has practiced in both disciplines. He is also the Director of InnovationSpace, a transdisciplinary laboratory at ASU. He is the author of Designing Things: A Critical Introduction to the Culture of Objects (Berg 2010) and is currently working on a book on Indian design.
