1. Annebella Pollen is Senior Lecturer in the History of Art and Design and Director of Historical and Critical Studies at the University of Brighton, UK. Her research interests include the history of amateur photography and design and dress as practices of resistance; she is currently preparing a book, Mass Photography: Collective Histories of Everyday Life, for I.B. Tauris, and is co-editing a collection of essays entitled Dress History: New Directions in Method and Practice for Bloomsbury.
