Abstract

Contemporarily, channels are widely used in various fields. This study aimed at introducing different advanced modeling methods for different types of channels. It mainly introduces the method of modeling wireless channels, compositing channels and AWGN channels and the characteristics of each are summarized and compared. The development of channel modeling has gone through an evolutionary process from empirical models to statistical models, physical models, and evolutionary models. As communication technology continues to advance and application requirements continue to change, channel modeling will continue to develop, providing more accurate and practical model tools for the design and optimization of communication systems. This study analyzes the modeling methods for three different channels according to background introduction, theoretical research, result analysis, and performance comparison. For these three different channel modeling methods, this study obtained a very satisfactory fit, but there are still some errors, which proves more advanced algorithms for different channels are still waiting to be developed.
