Abstract

The monograph summarizes the results of a study of the beneficial effect of the inhibitor of SUR1-Kir6. 2 and SUR1-TRPM4 channels-glibenclamide on changes in the neurodynamics of the vascular plexuses of the ventricles of the brain, macro- and microcirculatory subsystems of cerebral circulation, electrolyte homeostasis of the brain in its subtotal ischemia and traumatic brain injury in the highlands. The mechanisms of development and ways of prevention of cytotoxic, ionic, vasogenic edema and hemorrhagic conversion of the brain in low-mountain and high-mountain conditions are discussed. The book is addressed to specialists in the field of mountain physiology, medicine and biology.
