Reflections on Using Pesticides – A Global Problem

Abstract

With climate change occurring, some of the problems in using pesticides is examined as many farmers in the less developed countries do not get the support needed so that they avoid the highly hazardous insecticides and can improve the timing and method of application to suit their crops. The lack of independent research and effective extension services in many countries has resulted in using highly hazardous pesticides as they have had to get advice from commercial agents selling pesticides.
