Abstract

This study aims to examine the body composition and performance values of veterans and young long-distance runners and to investigate the differences between veterans and young athletes. Fifteen athletes, including seven veterans with an average age of 54,42 and eight young distance runners with an average age of 16,12, participated in this study voluntarily. IBM SPSS 26 version program was used for statistical analyses, and the Mann-Whitney U Test, one of the non-parametric tests, was used for pairwise comparisons between groups, and correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between variables.
