Abstract
Single injections of reserpine into young cockerels produced an increased concentration of free Δ4-3-keto-corticosteroids (particularly corticosterone) in both the adrenal glands and plasma in 3 hr; the increase subsided thereafter. Single injections of reserpine, promazine, or serotonin produced an acidophilia within 6 hr.
