Abstract

A novel in vivo approach was developed to measure potentiation of skeletal muscle torque in female mice and highlight another parameter of strength that is impacted by estradiol. The enhancement of PTP by estradiol is mediated distinctively through the G-protein estrogen receptor, GPER.
