Abstract

Postprandial hyperglycemia following consumption of a high-glycemic index (HGI) meal potentiated blood pressure response to static handgrip exercise (SHG-ex) in healthy young adults. These findings provide important insight into the role of the diet on acute circulatory response to exercise in healthy adults.
