Abstract

Middle-aged/older men with low testosterone have accelerated reductions in cardiovagal BRS compared with middle-aged/older men with normal testosterone. Increased concentrations of the proinflammatory cytokine IL-6 appear to contribute to the reductions in cardiovagal BRS in men with low testosterone.
