Abstract
The oil painting landscape sketching course is one of the required courses for teaching art majors, which has unique aesthetic value and artistic charm in art teaching. Based on multimedia big data, this paper designs the teaching mode for oil painting landscape sketching and constructs an evaluation system for the effect of art teaching. The random forest method is used to calculate the importance of assessment indexes and rank them, and then a teaching assessment model is constructed based on a one-dimensional convolutional neural network to assess the application effect of the proposed teaching model. The results of the teaching experiment show that the assessment scores of the dimensions of artwork cognition (P<0.05), externalization practice (P<0.05), and affective experience (P<0.05) of the students in the experimental class taught in the multimedia environment are higher than those of the control class in the traditional teaching mode. It was also found that abstract or figurative artworks did not have a significant effect on the teaching effect, and background music and artwork narration in the multimedia big data environment showed a greater positive effect in the teaching of oil painting landscape sketching. This paper lays the foundation for the development of good art thinking among students in art education and provides a reference path for the effective development of art education.
