Abstract

Abstract The rapid development of new media has influenced the creation and dissemination of online social opinion, adding a new opportunity and challenge to universities. This paper studies the integration of new media technology and students’ ideological education in schools, and discusses the development and challenges of new media in the application of students’ ideological education on campus. It integrates the characteristics of new media, builds an efficient ideological education service platform, gives full play to the advantages of excellent network technology, and deeply studies the development lines of ideological work in higher education institutions. The basic theory of gray correlation is applied to measure the deep gray correlation degree of each index, simplify the original evaluation index system system, and analyze the correlation coefficients of the research sample version by the logicality of deep gray correlation. The 15 research sample versions of indicators are used as the input values, and the relevant values are used as the derived values. Based on the practice of BP neural system network, a new evaluation index system system of media education ideas based on BP neural system network is summarized. A large-scale research was conducted on the application of new media service platform in higher education institutions. 82% of students said that this educational concept was effective and achieved the purpose of improving ideological educationv in higher education institutions.
