Abstract
Ideological and political education in colleges and universities is faced with opportunities and challenges due to the social environment of new media technology’s rapid development. The carrier, mode, content, and means of education have all changed and gradually become innovative; against the backdrop of mixed network information and various forms of education, it is novel to conduct ideological and political education on the basis of network normality. The author examines the issues with the current ideological and political education in colleges and universities. According to the author, the ideological and political education in colleges and universities based on the ADDIE model has the significance of developing new approaches, breaking down barriers of time and space, and fostering knowledge construction.
