Abstract
Abstract
The paper presents a method of testing the girder of a bridge crane using a specialized measuring type robot. The girder of the bridge crane is an example of a largesize structure. The bridge structure of the crane is a critical subsystem of the transport device due to its operational safety. The purpose of the overhead crane girder tests is to increase the reliability of the structure and operational safety. The proposed solutions indeed comply with the standards in force. Also, they increase their frequency and effectiveness of concluding in terms of predicting possible causes of threats to the safety and reliability of the structure.
