Abstract
AbstractA series of alkyl- and arylsulfanylpyridylguanidines was synthesized and their antimicrobial activity was evaluated in vitro against eight potentially pathogenic strains of fungi. Compounds with an alkylsulfanyl substitution have antifungal activity, which improves with increasing length of the aliphatic chain.
