Abstract

In this research, which is tried to be prepared as a descriptive literature research example, the opinions of different internet theorists, writers, activists, and magazine editors about a type of literature that can be called alternative literature are discussed. It has been expressed that young people, especially the Z-generation, are affected by the content of these alternative literary products, which may not have beneficial results in terms of protecting their personality development processes and their own cultural equipment. It is thought that the acquisition of uncontrolled, advertising-oriented literary products will lead to the formation of an irreversibly mixed culture in terms of the personal development of this new generation in the long run. For this reason, it has been suggested to review the course contents given in all education levels, especially in foreign language and literature departments of universities.
