Abstract

Abstract The first representatives of the genus Parkinsonia previously described from Georgia as P. djanelidzei Kakhadze, 1937 and P. djanelidzei var. dertshiensis Kakhadze, 1937 are revised. P. djanelidzei [M] and P. dertshiensis [m] are described and illustrated. The name P. (Okribites) djanelidzei Kakhadze, 1937 is a junior primary homonym of P. (Parkinsonia) djanelidzei Kakhadze, 1937 and is permanently invalid.
