Abstract

Abstract The bicyclic sulfamidite (C17H17NO2S) (P212121, a = 9.735(3) Å, b = 16.27(1)Å, c = 9.467(6) Å, Z = 4, R = 0.037), shows a R configuration of the S atom, deduced from the known absolute S configuration of the asymmetric carbon in the starting prolinol derivative. This is also deduced from proton 1H NMR. The molecules form intramolecular C–H … O bonds.
