Abstract
To achieve high-speed profilometry and avoid in-field vibration disturbances, high-speed 3-D surface profilometry using an innovative HSI color model and trapezoidal phase-shifting method has been developed to detect the morphology of measured objects at a high speed. By employing novel phase-shifting trapezoidal color fringe patterns, the method can reconstruct precise 3-D surface models by single one-shot image. Some industrial measurements were conducted to confirm that the measurement accuracy reached to 2.5% of the overall measurement range and the repeatability of 3.0% within ±3σ was achieved.
