Abstract
AbstractPhotochemical cycloadditions are powerful tools for the rapid construction of molecular and stereochemical complexity. Recent advances in visible-light photocatalysis have provided novel methods involving the generation of radical ion, neutral radical, and triplet excited-state intermediates that can participate in a variety of cycloaddition processes. This chapter highlights recent methods in this area for the synthesis of three-, four-, five-, and six-membered-ring systems.
