Abstract
Das Ellenbogengelenk reagiert auf eine über 14 Tage hinausgehende
Ruhigstellung sehr sensibel und neigt zur Einsteifung. Als zusammengesetztes
Gelenk mit einer schlaffen Kapsel und stabilisierenden Bändern verdienen
die Knochen-Band-Verbindungen besonderes Augenmerk. Wegen der engen
funktionellen Beziehungen ist die Beurteilung der Unterarm- und Handfunktion
unabdingbar. Konservative und postoperative Behandlungen sind von hoher
Schmerzempfindlichkeit und reflektorischer Muskelspannung geprägt.
