Abstract

Abstract Microcatheters are commonly used hardware during complex coronary and cerebral interventional therapies. With increasing operator experience, more and more complex coronary interventions are beingdone in day-to-day practice and especially with chronic total occlusions. Various types of micro catheters are available in the market with each manufacturer having unique design and purpose. This review summarizes the various available and commonly used microcatheters in interventional cardiology
