Abstract

Abstract Cultured human lymphocytes were prepared for electron-microscopic examination. From these cells observations were made on the structure of a spindle bridge and mid-body. It was estimated that the number of fibers in a spindle from cells containing 46 chromosomes is between 65 and 84.
