Abstract

The paper presents a cultural behavioural perspective relating to the globalization phenomenon, concentrating on issues of Human Resource Management in global organizations. A framework is suggested for analysis of the global shifts in terms of people's movement across national borders. It highlights the neglected role of the individual in the global system. The paper consists of two parts: first the framework push-pull model and its consistuencies, and second, implications and applications for global human resource management in the global system.
