Abstract
This article discusses the theoretical foundations of the method for calculating the reflected solar radiation from the underlying surface, taking into account its size and the location of the receiving area on the facade under study. In the article, this method is adapted to construction practice: the coefficient of reflected radiation from the adjacent horizontal site of the studied building to an elementary section of the facade is calculated. Using this method, calculations were made for the component of solar radiation reflected from the underlying surface onto an elementary section of the facade for 12 months. The results are analyzed. The necessity of taking into account the dimensions of a horizontal platform adjacent to an arbitrarily located building and the location of the receiving area on the facade under study for the receipt of the reflected component of solar radiation from the underlying surface is shown.
