Abstract

An efficient multicomponent reaction for the preparation of vinyl sulfone was achieved by the hydrogenation/bifunctional sulfonylation of alkynyl esters with N-allyl bromodifluoroacetamide, DABSO, and H2O under visible-light-only conditions.
