Abstract

A monomeric compound, triglochinic acid, has been isolated from Pinelliae pedatisectae rhizoma with its structure analyzed using NMR. It is used as a characteristic compound to distinguish Pinelliae pedatisectae rhizoma and Pinelliae rhizoma for quality control.
