Abstract

Pressure- and temperature-dependent luminescence measurements indicate that two emission lines from the 3F3/2(R2,1) → 4I9/2(Z5) transitions of M′-phase Nd3+:YTaO4 have promising sensing properties in the near-infrared spectral range.
