Abstract

Three novel Cu(I) clusters (1–3) were synthesized and characterized by strategically by introducing pargyline and phosphine ligands (PPh3 or dppy) to tune the structure and photophysical features. Clusters 1 and 3 exhibit excellent luminescent and are employed for the construction of LEDs.
