Abstract

An alcohothermal method is introduced for synthesizing doped Cs3ZnCl5 phosphors. The photoluminescence quantum yield of Cs3ZnCl5:Mn2+ was enhanced from 51.6% to 71.1% by codoping with Cu+, which acts as an effective energy transfer mediator.
