Abstract

By boosting surface roughness via devising hybrid dimensional magnetic microstructures on 3D substrates, a remote controllable, superhydrophobic/superoleophilic melamine foam (MM-RSF) was obtained, showing magnetic-driven oil sorption behavior and great potential in oil/water separation.
