Abstract

A series of organo(alkoxy)disiloxanes was obtained by the reaction of CO₂with sodium alkoxy(organo)silanolates under high pressure. It is suggested that the reaction involves intermediate formation of the carbonate derivative of sodium alkoxy(organo)silanolates.
