Abstract

Gold@gold–silver (Au@AuAg) yolk–shell nanocubes with surface concavity were prepared via a thiosulfate-mediated galvanic replacement reaction. The nanocubes exhibited noticeable enhancement in catalysis arising from the stepped facets.
