Abstract

Novel complexes {Co(dppe)₂Cl}(C₆₀) (1) and {Co(dppe)₂Cl}(C₇₀)·0.5C₆H₄Cl₂ (2) were obtained. Charge transfer provides the formation of Co^II(dppe)₂Cl⁺ and closely packed C₆₀˙⁻ or C₇₀˙⁻ radical anions.
