Abstract

A new deep green-emitting material, a 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenylene-substituted iridium(iii) complex, fac-tris[2-(3′,5′-bis(trifluoromethyl)biphenyl-3-yl)pyridine]iridium (Ir(mtfppy)₃), was synthesized.
