Abstract

Cubic, yttria-stabilised hafnia, YSH, ceramics of general formula, YxHf1−xO2−x/2: x = 0.15, 0.30 and 0.45 are mainly oxide ion conductors which have p-type electronic conduction especially at high pO2.
