Abstract

Borate glass with the basic composition Li2B4O7 (Li2O–2B2O3) co-doped with Sm and Cu has been obtained and studied in detail using XRD, EPR, optical absorption and photoluminescence (excitation, emission, and decay kinetics) techniques.
