Abstract

A new tetrakis(phthalocyaninato) europium(iii)–cadmium(ii) quadruple-decker complex {[Pc(SC₆H₁₃)₈]Eu[Pc(SC₆H₁₃)₈]Cd[Pc(SC₆H₁₃)₈]Eu[Pc(SC₆H₁₃)₈]} (1) has been designed, synthesized, and characterized.
