Abstract

An interconverting system of self-assembled [Fe₂L₃]⁴⁺ triple helicates and [Fe₄L₆]⁸⁺ tetrahedral cages is reported. The rates of interconversion between these two assemblies were measured allowing for a mechanism of interconversion to be proposed.
