Abstract

Migration of atoms in solids during diffusion-dependent reactions is relatively fast and generally not directly recordable in experiments. Here an experimental framework including differential scanning calorimetry is presented that resolves the cation-migration paths in the crystalline monosulfide Fe₇S₈.
