Abstract

An efficient protocol for the modular synthesis of sulfones and sulfonyl derivatives has been developed utilizing sodium tert-butyldimethylsilyloxymethanesulfinate (TBSOMS-Na) as a sulfoxylate (SO₂²⁻) equivalent.
